Intake Appointments

Appointment Eligibility

Who's eligible for an appointment with CARE? CARE supports all Huskers (undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff) who have been impacted by sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. Online booking is for first-time, intake appointments only.

If you have any questions or concerns about eligibility, please call (402-472-3553) or email (care@unl.edu) us.

Can I make a same-day appointment online? Online appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.  For same day appointments, please call (402-472-3553) or email (care@unl.edu) us.

No information will be shared without a written Release of Information unless otherwise required by law. CARE staff are not mandated reporters, meaning they will not report or share any personal information with other offices, police, or Title IX without your consent, unless it involves imminent danger to self or others and/or child abuse.

While CARE is confidential, due to internet security, we cannot ensure all email communication is fully confidential. Read CARE’s entire confidentiality policy.

By scheduling an appointment online, I understand I am using a third-party platform for administrative purposes (scheduling/changes). I understand that this system should not be used to communicate confidential information, emergencies, or detailed data. I acknowledge that I am responsible for securing my own device and, while the platform is secure, no digital platform is 100% risk-free.

Additionally, I understand that an online appointment type may not be secure or 100% risk free. The CARE team utilizes a university approved and mandated platform for all online appointments.
